Love Uniwatch…and i am clearly obsessed with Met uniforms. This however, does not bother me in the least. It’s not a permanent change in the uniform. I notice the Kid’s patch location, and the rest of the game, it doesn’t affect my enjoyment of the Mets’ appearance one iota. That bloated “e” in the script bothers me…not where the Kid patch is on a special occasion.
I know it’s Uniwatch’s thing to nitpick stuff like this, but can’t Mr. Lukas just note it without stressing? It’s not a big deal. (By the way, the link to the Uniwatch article is bad.)

Of all the things the All-Star Game does to unis, moving the Kid patch is the least of my gripes.
Although, you’d think the standard place for any memorial patch would be over the left chest (heart) to begin with.
