The fine folks over at Starter (@starterbrand) invited us over to check out their relaunch of the classic satin style jacket from the ’80s/90’s. The one that we were viewing was a 2013 ASG jacket. They had two versions a blue and an orange.

I got to meet Carl Banks last night who is the man responsible for the relaunch of Starter. He said that there will be two exclusive retailers for now and also there will be unicorns. No not
Real unicorns but where 90% of the stores will have the main color of the jacket a few others would have a different color. From talking to Carl you could tell he was really into making his clothes for the fans and he wants to give them what they want. He was also just a very nice guy to just talk to. He also said he loved the NHL and was a big Hartford Whalers fan back in the day.
