In the October issue of GQ, the magazine presents their 20 Worst Sports Franchises of All Time. Sadly I had a feeling the Mets would make this list, and they did at number 12. In part GQ said:
Few teams can boast a tradition of spending fortunes on wrung-dry former All-Stars (Mo Vaughn, Bobby Bonilla) and a legacy of idiotic trades. Meet the Mets!
