FLUSHING, N.Y., June 17, 2014 – The New York Mets and Metropolitan Hospitality today announced that the 2014 Citi Field Sleepover presented by bedgear™ will be held on Saturday, July 19 at Citi Field beginning at 5:00 p.m. Tickets will go on sale to the general public this Thursday, June 19 at 10:00 a.m. at Mets.com/Sleepover.

Fans will be able to enjoy a host of activities during the 15-hour overnight event including sitting on the the outfield grass and watching PIX 11’s live broadcast of the Mets’ road game against the San Diego Padres on Citi Vision. Attendees will enjoy a dinner buffet in the Good Humor Fan Fest, snacks, and breakfast in the morning. Fans will also have the opportunity to meet Mr. and Mrs. Met. In addition, bedgear™ will provide every attendee with a complimentary pillow.

Gates for the Citi Field Sleepover will open at 5:00 p.m. The Mets-Padres PIX 11 telecast will begin on Citi Vision at 8:40 p.m. Fans with sleeping bags can sleep on the grass; those with tents on the warning track.

All fans attending the Citi Field Sleepover will receive a ticket to the Mets’ Sunday, September 28 game against the Houston Astros.

Last year more than 300 fans attended the first ever Citi Field Sleepover on August 10.

  1. I know the $200 price includes food & a ticket to a game in September, but maybe next time the Mets could consider a cheaper option for families who might appreciate the experience without the extra frills.
