You all keep ignoring me about the MLB wide mandate to have METAL DETECTORS AT ALL STADIUMS IN 2015. Yep, we all get to go through airport security and empty our pockets, enjoy the game.
My questions continue to be this:
– if this threat is real, why is baseball waiting until 2015 to make us safe?
– will teams such as the Mets have this in place by tonight so we can be safe?
– if no, then this isn’t fake security theater? MLB would be crazy to let fans be unsafe until 2015, right?

metspolice I think it’s proactive and not reactive. Doubt MLB picked up chatter overseas of a pending attack.
metspolice MLB isn’t worried about CitiFiled because it wiill be empty in 2 weeks. Fire Sandy, trade #Bartolo – just to shed lbs…er $$$.
