Quiet morning, nothing even to link to, so I will share this which has been on my mind.
I have tickets for Saturday in my usual seats, the face on them is $34. I probably got some sort of discount for my 10 game plan…so let’s knock the number all the way down to $25 just to simplify the discussion.
You may have noticed that the Mets are offering 4 for $48. In the lower bowl. 48 divided by 4 is $12.
So by supporting the Mets early all year (my choice,nobody made me) I get to pay $50+ for two tickets upstairs while downstairs is 4 for $48.
The solution probably lies in offering folks like me extra tickets (not like the place is full) or crediting 2015 with some equivalent feel good amount or something…
…but today I feel like a dope. Again nobody made me buy tickets…but I sure feel stupid for doing so.
