So glad Matt Harvey’s Great Return is in the past

The second most interesting man in the world, after Matt Harvey

Stay with me…

I feel actually relieved this morning that Matt Harvey’s Return is behind us.  As you may have noticed (ha) I couldn’t take the 18 months of HYPE.

It was great to see him on the mound, and hopefully he can be Gooden to you kids (although at almost-26 years old he is already 100+ wins behind where Doc was, ponder that for a second!!!!!).

Yep it was great to see him throwing free and clear.

Hopefully he can do his Namath thing and give us fat bloggers lots of mockable content.

As I said on Twitter yesterday, the Harvey Hype is so over the top that I have to “Daily Show” it, and if the mainstream media continues to be as absurd as they have been (don’t forget that E:60 is still to come and I shall mock the snot out of that) then I shall mock appropriately.

But today feels good.  Just another Spring Training day as we get ready for whatever soap opera the 2015 Mets will be.

Stay normal my friends.

  1. It was a great day to be there….78 degrees….hot chicks…cold beer Mets win!
There is a different vibe to the Mets fan base this year than in the past.
One more bat and we will be In the mix!
