Tom Seaver Day. Don’t the words just make you smile? I was there on July 24th, selling ice cream in “Upper Left” that day, but what an emotional day it was as the franchise retired 41 in honor of The Franchise. A very very special moment, and as we’ve seen, one that happens in Queens once per generation.
