Mets Police Morning Laziness: Terry gone? Harvey gone? And it’s Hudson River Derby Day!

SLACKISH REACTION:  Yesterday was a great beach day.  Started out cloudy but by 4pm it was fantastic.  So I sat on the beach and decided not to bother listening.  Why?  Not that I wasn’t interested – but I’m just done with fighting with the MLB App and decided not to be annoyed.  If they don’t care why should I care.   Anyway it seems like the Mets lost and played a bunch of guys out of position as usual.

The 4th Place Mets are 10 games under .500 and now 1-4 in Garbage Time.

Today is the Hudson River Derby.  Normally I’d nag you guys to watch soccer, but the game is at the worst soccer venue on the planet (which is Fake New Yankee Stadium) where the field is too narrow and the TV angles horrific.  So if you’re fighting me on the whole soccer thing, lets find another game for you to watch.

On the other hand, the Mets play at 8pm so soccer will help you kill some time between 6 and 8.  The game is on FS1.

Oh you came here for Mets content.  Well, the newspapers are writing COULD articles.  There’s one today speculating when the Mets COULD call up Dom Smith.  That’s so useless.  Not linking.

One thing worth reading for sure is Buster Olney – in this article he suggests the Mets moving on without The Dark Knight and maybe sending Terry home early.    I’ll split my comments on those into two other posts.

Enjoy a sunny Sunday.  Life without baseball is nice.  Try it.
