It looked like the Mets would be no-hit until Mattingly did the Mets a favor. Things sure will be interesting in The Bronx when The Captain fires The Captain. The Marlins are 7.5 on April 12th and their season is over. Wow.
The Mets find themselves with a 3.5 game lead which is huge for this early, Wheeler is the True Ace and we’re out of catchers. You can read all about that on lazy blogs everywhere.
I went to the bar for some wings and they were showing Softball and Lacrosse. Two asks later, and with me wearing a Mets cap (hybrid cap too!) to remind the waitress they finally put the game on.
Then I had to take my kid somewhere and sit there for an hour so, being the hypocrite i am, paid $3 for monthly access to the MLB App. The levels issue was still there but not as horrible as past seasons. I hate myself.
The comedians are back! Jerry Seinfeld is interested in the Mets again. That makes two comics now. That’s how you know the Mets are doing well.
