So if you’re a dumb American like me you might not notice anything.
So let me Yanksplain to you based upon my googling. The correct flag image is the one on the right. Look at the bottom of the leaf which is less pointy.
The one on the main screen has some more points toward the bottom of the leaf.

Anyway I am sure the Mets meant well and there’s a pretty good chance I screwed up my explanation here. Hopefully the Mets will apologize to the people of Canada and avoid an international incident.
