Report: Baseball, which is totally not boring and dying, attendance down 1.4%

Baseball which is totally healthy, has tons of Big Stars and definitely not boring and something you should spend 7 hours on when you have a day off, but don’t bring a backpack, reportedly is seeing a decline in attendance.

Major League Baseball’s overall average of 26,854 through Wednesday is 1.4% below the 27,242 through the similar point last season, which wound up below 30,000 for the first time since 2003. (via Hardball Talk)

Now before you tell me how wrong I am, remember I used to have a 15 game plan…now have a zero game plan….and my kid who was dragged to all those games has no interest in watching (David Wight Day broke him forever…that was the most boring baseball game ever played.)

If you are losing me, and the next generation of me, you really have a problem.
