As you know Keith is much better at baseball than I am, won an MVP and has two rings and a better dating resume than me…so a lot to admire there……but he does admittedly use the newspaper and Mike Francesa as his show prep, so some of his judgements may not be the best. I applaud his optimism….but this is how teams make bad decisions.
The Mets are only 6 back in the Wild Card race. First things first. Their first objective is to get to .500. Under .500 isn’t going to cut it. They’ve got good teams ahead of them. Those teams are not going to finish below .500. Current weak schedule helps. Lot of season left
