I am on the record as saying that although the black uniforms are obviously horrific monstrosity that are a sin against all mankind – I do see the validity of wearing them once a week as alts for the same reason it made sense to wear the racing stripes in 2016. It makes sense to celebrate the 2020 squad this summer. We don’t have much history, and for what little we do have, sometimes we dressed like a softball team.
If they do wear black, wear all black as the hybrid caps are the worst of the worst. Why? The NY doesn’t pop. You must be new here. You have about 4 years of me ranting and raving about the black uniforms in all posts prior to 2012 so go read those.
