Look, I hate being right, and I really hate being right about this one. But I take a lot of guff from people because I don’t roll with The Narrative (as an example, people are mad at me because I don’t kneel to Pete Alonso, just like I didn’t kneel before The Dark Knight.)

I know I am preaching to the converted here as you Dear Reader are reading this now. But tell your friends the next time that they are mad at me…..maybe I’m a jerk, but I am almost always right. And before I go Full Trump here, believe me I not at all happy to have been right about this. How I actually feel, in real life not just the exaggerated version of my personality you get on the blog, how I actually feel is just confused/disappointed/worried that I was able to see this 6 weeks ago, but the President apparently couldn’t.

SLACKISH REACTION: Well, you Dear Reader read the site so you know how I was mocking baseball for pretending the season was going to start on time. As you no doubt know by now, they have pushed it back. My current question is why they are pretending its only pushed back two weeks. After all, pitchers will need to stretch out again and stuff….clearly a two week delay won’t happen either. MLB will be lucky, actually we all will be, if it is back by May 1.
HEY PETE, GROW UP. So the latest reason everyone hates me, what else is new, is because I think Pete Alonso, 25 year old man, needs to grow up. He put out a beautiful statement yesterday but has to turn into a child at the end with his vulgar LGM with that extra letter in it. Grow up. I don’t know what else to say Pete. Grow up.
So since Pete won’t grow up, I have to point out that he hit ZERO home runs this spring. Zero. None. Nada. Zilch. Adding letters to LGM is cute when you hit the longball, but ask Matt Harvey or Ike Davis how quickly this town can turn on you should the magic leave you. When you hit 53 you can punch the manager in the face and get away with it. You hit 15 HRs this year….watch out Vulgar Pete, the F’s will be coming your way from the people who love you today.
