First crack in the Pete Alonso Mafia’s armor

If you read today’s New York Post, there it is.  It’s just the tiniest of cracks, but there it is.  It’s just that tiny drop of water on your outdoor faucet that’s the first sign that the fixture is starting to go bad.  Nothing to worry about.  Just ignore it.  All will be fine.

The Post wrote about McCann hitting better….

Perhaps, the temporary position change has awoken the hitter within. Maybe, the Mets should tell rehabbing first baseman Pete Alonso to take his time.

And there it is.  Take your time Pete.  Pete Alonso with the team leading 6 home runs on May 30th (Three per month, pacing to around 20 his season! If he gets hot he could hit 30!)

Remember friends, always trade high and deal from strength.  Especially when you have other options.

Oh, and another thing.   #LGM.  There’s no F in that.
