I think the Mets are on a mission to make everyone just stop caring. I know I have. You know how much I care about SNY not being on YTTV? Not at all. After last year’s combined no-hitter I watched the next day, then realized baseball is so boring – and didn’t watch again until the night the Six Padres Fans chased the t-shirt army out of Citi Field (hey it was cold and they had to work the next day. Loyal until the water is bad. I get it.)
This year I watched Opening Day and during Game 2 I realized I was bored, and really don’t enjoy Gary Cohen’s company (he just isn’t fun) and turned it off and haven’t looked back.
But that’s me. They’d never start to lose someone like Howie Rose, right?
In other news, what the heck is this lineup? It seems to me that they are tanking to protect the draft pick. The Wilpons are a joke. I can’t wait until they are gone and we get a cool billionaire who is willing to field a competitive team instead of focusing on developing real estate on 126th street. Sell The Team!
