In addition, three new ticket packs that provide fans with more savings and flexibility will go on sale tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. at Mets.com/packs.

6-Game Marquee Flex Pack
Fans can secure tickets to Opening Day (April 5) or one of the Subway Series games at Citi Field (June 22-24) before individual game tickets go on sale. Choose Opening Day or one of the Subway Series games at the regular price, then select five other games at a savings off the established box office price.

6-Game Value Flex Pack
The price of a ticket in this pack starts at $9 per game or $54 per pack for any six games other than Opening Day or the Subway Series. Quantities are limited with availability in select sections of Baseline Box, Caesars Box, and Promenade Reserved seating categories.

Mr. Met Dash Pack
For three or more Mr. Met Dash games, every regularly priced adult ticket purchased through this special pack can add up to three children 12 and under for $10 each per game. Kids can run the bases after the game during the Mr. Met Dash on the following Sundays: April 22, May 6, June 17, July 8, August 12, and August 26.

Last week, the Mets launched the Banner Day Pack to mark the return of the longtime Mets tradition on Sunday, May 27 against the San Diego Padres. The five-game pack starts at $50 and also includes games against the San Francisco Giants (Saturday, April 21), Cincinnati Reds (Friday, June 15) and Miami Marlins (Thursday, August 9 and Friday, September 21).

Mets Fan: Yankees’ Nick Swisher’s Wife

Fine. Fine. I know its a tv show. Royal Pains is shot in NY and  is set in the Hamptons with the cast popping back into NYC every now and then. I do know there are a few Mets fans that work on it (wink wink) .I wonder what Swisher thought of it.

She definitely could pass as a Mets fan. She ran through the Mets fans emotional cycle pretty well. Hope, anger, disappointment, giving up, acceptance, and back to hope again.

Precinct 41’s Mets Base Display

Precinct 41 is now fully operational. After months and months of waiting for the closing, renovating, moving and decorating, I was finally able to display some of my Mets memorabilia. By the way that is one of the reasons I have been so quiet on Twitter (@mediagoon). Anyway here is what I put together. You can see the Precinct 41  customized bat in the corner.

This the view as soon as you open the front door of Precinct 41.

Here’s a look at it from my living room. You can see there is a picture hanging next to the cases.

Check it out after the jump.

Marlins’ Jose Reyes to Cut His Hair

Since people seem to be making a big deal about this, I guess I should cover it.  The MLB Network is televising it on Friday.

From AOLSPORTINGNEWS

The Marlins have a strict policy about short hair and with Reyes set to report to camp later this month, the time has come for a haircut.

“No problem at all,” Reyes told reporters after being introduced earlier this offseason, according to The Miami Herald. “That’s not going to affect me and the way I play the game. I’ve got to cut it off, no problem.”

In other news, I think I might shave tomorrow. Does any network want to cover it?

Mets Banner Day Date Announced

Okay, so this isn’t the big news we were looking for while Shannon is away for business. The Mets however have kept the tradition of when he is away they announce something. This being something he fought for since he started Metspolice. Shannon has been trying to figure out what date it was going to be on since the Mets announced that Banner Day was returning this year.
