So that happened (Phillies 10, Mets 0)

Ha, I thought the game was at 4..tuned in, saw the carnage, got on with my life.  Enjoyed the Derby.

Everyone remember, Halladay is really good, and 10-0 and 1-0 count the same in the standings.  Injoy the floating feeling that is Mets baseball and Let’s Go Mets tomorrow night on stupid Sunday Night Baseball which at least is on ESPN3.com which means I can watch it out on the deck.

Maybe the Nats can get a rare taste of first before the night is over.

New York Mets Stitch and Pitch day

Some more bizarre Saturday material while I enjoy the sunshine:

Saturday June 5th is Stitch and Pitch day at Citi Field.  The 4th annual?  Missed that one.  Well, nice gloves.

Check out that patch on the black t-shirt on the left.   A World Series patch!

I love the Mets and all, but a 4pm game isn’t working for me.  Sun now, watch game after sunset.  That’s my plan, but enjoy the game!

Mickey Mouse doesn’t seem to like black Mets jerseys

Looks like Mickey Mouse believes in orange and blue.   I’m not nuts about the white NY, but I’ll forgive it since Mr. Mouse has avoided the dreaded black.

  • This 7.5″ figurine is a replica of the 7.5′ version that can be found in Southern California.

I feel like I should have more to say about last night’s game.  It was a good win, I enjoyed it, I am happy – but really no comments on it.   I’m not digging the 4pm start today, that one is getting time-shifted.  It’s absolutely perfect out, stop reading some dopey blog and go outside!
