In the Mets Hall of Fame and Museum you’ll come across a display of all the uniforms the Mets have worn throughout the years (main designs, nothing from Mercury or Civil Rights games or such).
The curator is my kind of guy. Â Look what was chosen to represent the blue – yes, that’s a Ron Hodges jersey. Â No, I’m not being sarcastic about Hodges like I usually do – this actually is a Ron Hodges jersey. Â That’s awesomely funny.
By the way, the “Dodgers” thing is over. Â There’s so much Mets stuff now that you feel great that they also mention Brooklyn and honor Jackie Robinson. Â My kid asked “who is that?” about the man in the rotunda. Â He also asked twice about Casey Stengel.
As you may have noticed, I like Mets jerseys. Â Here’s some more photos:

Pictures of Mets Hall of Fame and Museum: The Plaques
When you first walk into the Mets Hall of Fame and Museum you will see a wall of plaques on the left hand side.
The plaques are reminiscent at what you might see at Cooperstown, and the Mets wisely left room to enshrine more heroes.
Here are some more photos of the various Hall of Fame members. Â Click any picture to make it larger.
As a first impression, these go a long way. Â If you’re wondering about the busts that used to be in the Diamond Club at Shea, I was told those would be displayed at a later date. Â In the back of the museum there’s a section of weird modern art things that doesn’t work so well, I wouldn’t have even mentioned it and I am not complaining, but I can imagine the busts going in that display case.
