Come on Giants fans, I know you can do it. You ran Ray Handley out of town with some awesome chants, and you even rented a plane once.
Please look out for yourselves and chant “No P.S.L.’s” on national TV tonight. It may not help at all but you can at least embarrass ownership on national TV for your $40,000.
Everything Nice But Niese
Nice sweep of the Brewers! Â I don’t know why Jerry is still “interim.” Â He’s done a great job with tape and glue and guys we never heard of.
They ducked Sabathia but they have to be at least a little in the Brewers heads now (although that didn’t help the ’88 Mets when they met the Dodgers in the playoffs. Â Look it up kids.)
I’m really excited that it caught them up in the Wild Card standings. Â I hate the Wild Card (off-season topic) but it exists so why not use it. Â I have no confidence in the bullpen and the rotation is me, you, Perez, Santana and someone else – Â so I kinda like the idea of a safety net.
The only rotten note this week was that as president of the Jon Niese Fan Club, this future Hall of Famer didn’t get his first win, and that 4th inning looked kinda like Pedro does half the time. Â He was as nervous as Willie Randolph flying to the West Coast. Â I hope they keep Niese in the rotation, he’s got stuff.

Memo To Mookie, Davey & Doc: Show Up!
The Daily News reported that Mookie Wilson and Davey Johnson will not be part of the closing ceremonies at Shea because of a falling out with the organization.
Fellas, the team doesn’t make an extra dollar if you come, and doesn’t lose a dollar if you don’t.
For the fans, and for the memories show up. Do it for youselves. Come feel the love. You don’t have to shake hands with the Wilpons or whoever you are mad at.
Dwight Gooden has also been invited but isn’t expecyed to come.
Come on guys, even Tom Seaver is leaving the vineyard for an afternoon (or night if ESPN effs us). If Tom can be bothered, surely you can.
