Nothing we hadn’t already heard from the interview Bob did with Bustedhalo.com, but nice to hear the Yankees confirm.

>The Mets Police comment that there may not be any Mets on the All-Star team got me to thining. Yes, the votes are still coming in so this could change, but thought I’d take a shot at what players will make up the NL All-Star team next month (assuming the current vote leaders remain so).

>Always fun to listen to the out of town call. I got to enjoy Jon Miller calling the Giants game – how refreshing!
Don't judge Miller by either ESPNs production values or by Joe Morgan dumbing him down.
Miller more or less works alone. He has a partner but I only heard the guy speak once in 4 innings. A (practically) one man booth with little production values, and no annoying F-A-N chant every half inning was a wonderful experience. Just the facts with no cheeze nor pompous high-far home run calls was a treat for this New Yorker.
Mets win, Maine wins, Willie stays – amazin' what the easy part of the schedule can do for a team.
Let's go mets! Mets-po-lice da da da!
