The Mets have worn pinstripes three games in a row

Several readers and tweeters have observed the Mets have worn pinstripes three days in a row. I don’t think it means anything. I suspect it has been a long long time since that happened.

I still haven’t had a chance to poke at the 2011 schedule (see link a few posts down) and the bus on which I wrote this an hour ago really really needs new shocks. It’s hard to type in turbulence.

By the way bloggers: the blogpress app for mobile is way more stable than the wp app. Spend the $3.

The 1994 New York Mets Yearbook cover

Man, these last two years have been a disaster.  The only thing worse than those seasons would be no Mets games at all.

I don’t recall this yearbook nor this patch.  I may have to call the Batphone (Faith and Fear) for some info on this patch.

Don’t you think that tiny NY on the ball logo

a) is really expensive to reproduce or

b) causes people from not-NY to like the Mets?  They should remove that from the logo to get more fans from Dallas or Wyoming.

Mets 2011 schedule released

Hey gang – Here’s the 2011 schedule. They open on the road April 1 at “Florida” which is rumored to mean San Juan.

There are a lot of TBA times on there.

More when I can (or when Media Goon can)

You own all these cool Mets things

I spent Sunday watching football and cleaning out my inbox (sorry if I was late getting back to you on anything, I am caught up now and can be reached at shannon@metspolice.com) and found this from Scott’s awesome collection.  I don’t think I have posted this one.

Love the Craig Swan ad.
