Guest Experience: Niko says food he bought at Citi Field food was past its “best” date

How is your Guest Experience at Citi Field?  Let the Mets Police know (shannon at mets police dot com or @metspolice on twitter)

The great Guest Experience at Citi Field apparently continued on Sunday.  Niko, who I trust, says he purchased these at the game on Sunday.

Listen Niko, much like I should have read the print on my Opening Day tickets, you should have read the food packaging label before completing your transaction. At Citi Field, the policy is, Sucks To Be You.

Fortunately….

Anyway, there aren’t too many Guests to have a lousy Experience today.

Keep playing 4 hour games and playing the shiniest games after 8pm baseball.

The proportion of Americans who say they are baseball fans matches its lowest in nearly ten years. 44% of Americans currently say they watch baseball a great deal (7%), good amount (8%), or a little (29%). A majority (56%) do not watch America’s so-called pastime at all. The proportion of baseball fans is down from 50% in April 2016

Guest Experiences: Some Mets fans upset about Citi Field scoreboard blocking ad

Saw this…

On the one hand I want to say STFU. Why? Because when I posted about MY view…

…people on Facebook told me to STFU, but now that the t-shirt people can’t see the score it’s a THING. First of all, those seats face in, so if you’re looking over your shoulder to look at the scoreboard you are doing it wrong anyway.

HOWEVER- I’m on a major kick of calling the Mets out for each and every fan’s lousy Guest Experience and I don’t want to be a hypocrite. I think Niko should be able to see the score, and I am sorry he had a lousy Guest Experience. Unfortunately, it seems the theme of 2018 at Citi Field seems to be Sucks To Be You.
