All-Star Mets Mickey Mouse

Remember when the All-Star Game was here in NY 2 years ago?  MLB had replicas of the Statue of Liberty painted with the colors of each team throughout New York.

Anaheim’s equivalent?  Why MIckey Mouse of course!

Now MLB is auctioning off those team statues with opening bids starting at $7,500.  The Mets version features Mr. Met on one of Mickey’s ears (cute).

I notice one thing that is not featured on the statue – the color black!  Mickey is all blue and orange.  If you want to bid on it you can go here.

Photos of Unnecessary Meadowlands Stadium

Hey you know that unnecessary stadium, the one the Jets can’t sell out (HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA……), Peter took some pictures and sent them over.  You can find his galley here. That’s all I have…I’m going back to laughing at the Jets.  HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA….

This has nothing to do with the Mets, I thought it was interesting and I’m gonna guess you follow either the Jets or Giants….plus I’m out playing Actual Athletics.

Megdal on Mets development

Good morning.   Nope, I’m not off getting donuts – it’s another one of those Saturdays when I am doing an Actual athletic Event.   Media Goon is with me, so Mets Police is autopiloting for the morning but don’t worry, all sorts of magic awaits – including this gem from Howard Megdal who is running for Mets GM.

Do you guys have nice wide-screen monitors or do the videos step on the right side? I hate shrinking the videos but I could.
