Is the black the #1 selling Mets jersey?

Here’s a sneak preview of an article I am excited about that is scheduled for Tuesday morning.  I have already sat on it for 2 days, but I’m blogging on a Saturday night again (loser) and can’t contain myself.  This is another good one.

Brian has shared with me some recollections he had with a marketing executive shortly after Thanksgiving.

Here’s a tease, it’s a pretty long piece and I expect it will start a decent sized discussion:

….those who don’t like the black uniforms are overwhelmingly in the minority. According to (the marketing executive), they received a lot of positive feedback on the black uniforms in the May uniform survey.

(The executive) did say that it is their number 1 selling jersey…..

Pictures of the return of Jose Reyes

I was lucky enough to score some field level seats today. I felt kind hearted and generous, so I took Shannon with me. It was a nice day at the park and Reyes got a good reception. There was less booing of the team today. Perez was looking pretty good. Reyes I think was trying to hard. I still have a good feeling. There really is nothing like a day game at the park. Enjoy these pics guys.

Media Goon (who is mad at me for not crediting him for taking the video in the Reyes post) hooked me up with some serious seats today. Behind the Mets dugout!

Razor Shines was cool and gave Junior a ball, so if you want to rag on Razor take it somewhere else.

Here’s a wonderful combination of great seats and my crappy photography (don’t worry, Goon brought his fancy camera which had something called a “zoom lense” so some good pics will be coming).
