This ain’t 2015. Where are all the Mets fans?

I don’t know about you, but I am not seeing Mets Attire in the wild.

In the past, this would be a time where everyone in the neighborhood would be breaking out their Mets gear (a lot of it form the black and blue era).

This time….nothing.  (I also am not seeing Yankees nor Phillies stuff here Out West.)

I also haven’t broken out my Mets gear so I can avoid the awkward conversation about how I don’t like the players on the current team, so I am not rooting for them nor against them – I am just kind of taking it in the way I would a New York Football Giants playoff run.  It just sort of exists.

I know many of you are jazzed (especially anyone predisposed to interact with a Mets based blog) but I’m not seeing any excitement out there.

Congratulations Mets. Congratulations Carlos Mendoza

Many things can be true at once.

Congratulations Mets.

Francisco Lindor basically told Mets fans to go to hell.  Back at ya,

Congratulations Carlos Mendoza.

Mendoza was the second choice, emergency choice manager.  He did a good job.  Congratulations to him.

Gary Cohen’s “from 0 and 5 to OMG” call is terrible hacky nonsense.  Preplanned instead of capturing the moment.  He is very overrated even though none of you will ever admit it.

Congratulations Mets.

The Braves are going to eliminate the Mets in the NLCS aren’t they?
