Reports are that the 2011 season would start on Friday April 1st.
Rumors are that the schedule will have the Mets opening on the road against the Marlins, in San Juan.
That my friends, might make for a convenient awesome vacation. Â Take Thursday and Friday off, fly back Sunday night…could be nice.
If I had any brains I’d pair up with a travel company and try and organize a trip but I’m (a) lazy and (b) just gave the idea away.
