Silly post time. This was inspired for me to put together by a comment the other day to The Secret horrible origins of…The Black Mets Uniforms.
Brian says-I personally think the black Mets outfits are like Spiderman’s black costume, and that they’re trying to eat the team alive. Kill them now while we still can.
1st pic- good Spidey in new duds.
2nd pic -uni becomes evil and wants to kill Spidey.
3rd pic- the uni attaches to Colactus.
I think Brian is onto something.
This would be a stronger argument if the Mets were wearing the evil black unis when they lost last night 😉
(I’m not a fan of the black uniforms, but they look better than the greys with black caps & undershirts.)
ANYTHING looks better than black sleeves/belts/socks with the whites or greys. It’s out of place and looks stupid when the writing and piping (or pinstripes, depending) everywhere else on the uniform is blue. It’s not even a pro- or anti-black thing, it just doesn’t match. They shouldn’t be wearing black sleeves now for the same reason they never wore orange ones before.
Black uniforms in game number two…that did not take long, did it?
And, so far, it is wins in grey uniforms 0 wins in black uniforms 1.
So, I’m betting they’re in black tomorrow afternoon too.
