Awesome experience at Citi Field

4:51pm.

Hello from the field. Like the actual field.

The Mets were gracious enough to invite me over tonight. My brain fries every time I think of that, especially the part of my brain that is still 7 years old and at a game with my dad.

So there I was in the stadium mid afternoon. I found myself sitting between Jason Fry from F&F and Media Goon and we were at Colactus’ pregame press conference.

Jason put it best when he said, “Do no harm.”. The real media (Rubin, Howie, Cohen and the others) have a job to do so the last thing I want to do is ask some dumb question and either mess them up or get a scary look from Terry. So I quietly sat in the back and listened to the pros. I think Adam asked about Duda, and I learned Duda will likely play RF tomorrow and then he’ll bounce between the two positions the rest of the season.

Then the bloggers went out to the field for BP. Media Goon and his real camera took plenty of shots which we’ll post eventually.

It’s weird being me and on the field. I feel awkward. Why I am here? Yet it’s amazingly exciting and I’m so thankful.

Mets BP.

What you don’t hear about is players meeting fans. Every time I have come out early I see players spending lots of time with Mets fans.
