I should be very excited about attending tonight’s game, but continuing the theme of the season, all I can think about is what a pain in the ass it will be.
The reason I am going is not so much for the baseball, but for the people I am going with (more on that tomorrow). I’m excited to hang out with this group.
However, and being honest here, all I can think about is how late I am going to get home. Even with my eccentric millionaire blogger lifestyle, I have to function in the morning and answer the bell when it rings, and it’s going to ring at 5:45am.
Here is today’s schedule because the offing Rangers couldn’t sweep. The Rangers are now below the Marlins on my list of baseball teams I don’t wish fold.
Once again, the Mets draw the worst of the 4 times. 8:37 plus three and a half hours (playoffs) is 12:07, an hour to get home on a school night. How is that fun?
Anyway, playoff attending friends, see you guys later. Looking forward to seeing you. As for Major League Baseball…go eff yourself.
Dude, don’t blame MLB. This is mostly all about ratings, and to a much lesser extent the Dodgers being a west coast team. Getting all those eyes on your channel is too good for the money grubbers to pass up. You would NEVER see a NY Met or Yankee playoff game start at 1, 4, or even 6:30 PM. TBS paid big $$$ to get the rights to this and you can bet they are going to sucj every rating number that they can get out of it.
