Obstructed Views In Mets Citi Field Section 521

I guess nobody likes seeing the batter, pitcher or first base.  I’d hate to be the person in the hat, I bet he can’t see at all.

The person who sent me this wrote:

lots of things i like about the park. i like the pepsi porch, the bridge terrace seating,

right field reserved area the best i think.

the standing room around the lower level is neat. lots of cool merch for sale all over the park. we had blue smoke and it was very good. cheaper beer, and a nice beer stand with an excellent selection of bottled beers. promenade area in back of home plate has a nice food court with tables and shopping……but u cant see the game

Please send any shots of obstructed views (Citi Field or Yankee Stadium) to [email protected]

  1. In our tenth year as Sunday Plan holders for the Mets, my husband and I are in the very last row of CitiField, in Section 519 [and four of our pairs of tickets are for weeknight games — even though there are Sunday games the same weeks]. I suppose that the view from our seats is pretty much the same as the one represented on the ticket sales website back in December — provided, of course, that no one is sitting in front of you, which is unlikely to happen ‘way back in Row 17. I’ve phoned in a complaint to ticket sales, and was told that someone would get back to me “shortly.” Before half the season is over would be nice….

  2. How quickly we forget. Yes, there are some obstructed views and crappy seats. But this? There's a bar in the way. Do we not want handlebars? I can't count how many times I sat at a place in Shea with this exact problem. I adjusted by either leaning forward or back or sitting up straight, depending on my height and the seat.

Everyone has a different idea about what is 'acceptable'. These to me, are normal. some of them suck. But I know not to sit in the Left Field Landing if i'm not in the front part of it. I know what I'm getting into. I think a lot of it's just that people bought the seats without being able to look at them/know them first.
