Even More Overanalyzing the New York Mets Citibank Ad!

So I’ve been obsessed with this image from a recent Mets ad.  I kind of suspect that they photoshopped in these Mets fans over a generic stadium image.

As I brought up yesterday, nobody else in the crows seems to have Mets stuff on…and it doesn’t look like Citi Field to me.

Isn’t it odd that the Mets and Citibank wouldn’t use Citi Field?  Shouldn’t they have access to photos of a crowd at a Mets game?

Anyway…Mets Police has the best readers.   Take it away Alex…

In addition to being a diehard met fan, I also have a thing for stadiums.  You want over-analyzing of the Citi ad, as you expected, they are not even in NY.

The background looks like it is at the swamp at the University of Florida — you can see the angular orange piece behind the fans in the below pictures.

Thanks,

Hilarious.  Come on Mets, you know we’re watching you.  This was an easy one to get right.  Go downstairs this weekend and take a new picture.  Thanks Alex!

  1. That's not a fair assessment. You could be sitting IN Citi Field and you wouldn't know the Mets play there.

Generic ad for a generic Park.

  2. Well the Mets emailed it to me, so they must have something to do with it. I assume someone signs off on the email blasts.
It's not a big deal – I'm just having some fun. The team is 17 games out or whatever (I don't even check these days).
