Links and Housecleaning

I’m trying to catch up on blogging tonight.  I’ve been on the road quite a lot, and very busy.  A few things got past me that normally wouldn’t, so some stuff I would normally have been all over (like these Mets jobs postings) and by the time they’ve made 17 other blogs I figure why bother since you’ve probably seen it.

However, here’s some things of interest in case you did miss them.

Over here on the left is a shot from WCBS’s aerial photos of Citi.  That’s the bullpen reconstruction and there’s more photos here.

I started Shannon’s Other Blog which I admittedly don’t put nearly as much work or time as I do in this place, but is proving to be a great spot for interesting articles that might be out of place here.  I will probably do a fair amount of Olympics and World Cup over there, but although I mention the site here from time to time I’m not really pushing it or trying to grow traffic.  Here’s some articles that may interest you:

They are adding a club to Wrigley.

Selig gets a statue before Seaver

The White Sox are unretiring #11

Paul’s Random Stuff interests me, including this article about the 2009 Topps Cards…I didn’t know they did a set of throwback cards.  Take a close look at what Reyes is wearing.

Paul has some other cool stuff, a Gary Rajsich card, and some stuff about the 2010 Topps series…check it out.

That’s it for tonight.  I’m going to work on some things in advance…come back in the morning to see some quality Luis Castillo humor, some awesome uniform stuff, and a great example of why Mets Policing is working!
