If I buy this for her and I’m kissing her and it says “Mazzilli 13” on the back, is that…you know…weird?
She won’t wear it anyway.
Whenever I picture Mazzilli, it’s as #16, and even when he and Stearns flipped 12 & 16.
I also remember when “Mazzili 16” was probably the most common jersey to see young ladies wearing at Shea.
But, then again, I am a bit of a dinosaur
I associate Mazzilli with 16 as well…but for a 1987 jersey I would have to get her a 13. Unless I get her a 1978 retro. Do they sell those? She’s not wearing it anyway.
