Rainchecks from Sunday night’s Mets game

Here’s what the new official Mets twitter tweeted last night..I don’t see any info on mets.com but maybe I just stink at looking.

The #Mets invite all fans holding tickets to tonight’s game -marked game 13- to submit them for complimentary tickets to a game (cont.)

during the Mets June 8-10 series vs. SD or June 22-24 vs. Det. (subject to availability). Tickets along with first and second choice (cont.)

of game and return address should be mailed to: Mets Ticket Office, Citi Field, Flushing, NY 11368. All mailings must be received by May 15.

Nice job by the Mets.  I’m @metspolice if you’d like to follow me.

  1. Hey Shannon-

I am curious of your opinion on the debate between @CoreyNYC and @JoeandEvan on twitter. Basically @JoeandEvan is complaining as a season ticket holder because he already has tickets to that game so why does he need the additional tickets and basically thinks the mets are screwing him and other season ticket holders.

Corey and I think he is completely wrong but was curious what you thought

    1. @bpalm I didn’t hear what Evan said, but The Mets did something nice – they should be applauded. If someone doesn’t want the additional tickets then don’t use them or give them to a kid. When someone gives you a gift, don’t complain, smile and say thank you.
