Media Goon and I both jumped on the Flushing Flash pre-sale this morning, and didn’t find any “cheap” seats available.
I didn’t try singles, but for 2’s and 4’s I was regularly offered seats in the 100’s section.
If you’re waiting on Thursday’s pre-sale I hope they held some back for your sake.
I prebought yesterday, got two front row (left field outfield) seats for Friday, and 4 very nice behind home plate prom-infield seats for Sunday. Saturday was sketchy from the beginning.
I wanted to go Friday and Saturday but I’m just doing Friday. For Friday I got Prom. Reserved Infield (the cheap seats) but for Saturday only pricier stuff was available. This was during the Club Mets presale on Monday.
I wait till the Thursday before.
Rumor has it by then they will be available for 10 Borden Milk Coupons!!!!
The Mets and Yankees have both been directly selling (or having brokers ell on their behalf) on stubhub this year. It would not surprise me if they held these back in order to make some extra $, not to mention they likely kept some available for the packages they are still trying to unsuccessfully hock.
Dont worry there will be plenty of cheap seats left on stubhub check out the number of tkts on sale there now
