I don’t meticulously keep track but it was thrown around on twitter last night that the Mets have worn black jerseys 4 days in a row. Â Santana goes today and however such decisions get made, he tends to pitch in black.
What is going on????

The Mets wore gray jerseys on Tuesday and Wednesday in Cincy.
To date, the Mets have worn black jerseys a total of 6 times; Apr 9(Hm), Apr 22(Hm), Apr 30(Rd), May 2(rd), May 3(Rd), May 7(hm).
Wearing black jerseys they are: 3-0 at home; and 1-2 on the road.
So far this season the Mets are only winning 33% of the time when wearing gray, with either a black or gray jersey.
Time to make the Black Jersey the one for full-time wear! 😉
