The black Mets jersey in my house

Good morning –

I have some other business to attend to this morning.  Don’t worry, I have some stuff loaded but if Jerry gets fired or Tom Seaver unretires, Media Goon will handle the breaking news.

In the meanwhile, it’s time for Generic Content!

Beloved Daughter’s black Mets jersey has arrived.  She is very very happy.   You guys can make fun of me and talk about how I sold out but that’s daddy’s little girl.

Don’t forget about the Blue Cap Army meetup tomorrow night.  McFadden’s.  Cerrone and the Mets Bloggers will be there…5 to 7pm.  I’ll be there around 6 and will wear my Mets Police jersey.  Unless there’s some blog superfan impersonators out there, the fat guy is me.

Fake timeliness:

– hey that was some game last night, huh?

– what did everyone think about Lost?  I didn’t expect it to end that way did you?

    1. Moses I don’t like how it looks on a baseball team (although I understand the appeal as civilian-wear), and as a traditionalist it makes no sense to me because black was not one of the team colors.

With the introduction of the black jersey we’ve seen the caps and the dreded black dropshadow.

      Just not a fan.
