1. I actually like this year’s Stars & Stripes cap. The blue one from a couple of years ago looked too much like a regular Mets cap, and the red one from last year just looked wrong on any team that didn’t have red in their normal colors.

   This one gets the patriotic feel, looks different enough to notice and doesn’t really clash with anybody’s normal colors. My only nitpick – they’re made in China. Every other New Era cap I own was made in the U.S.A. Seems strange.

   I do hope that at least some part of the $36 price is going to a veterans’ organization, but I’m not counting on it.
