  1. Even though it is funny that they are poking fun at Lady Gaga, I think this is a small market promotion. We don’t need to do this to get people to vote. They should just have people go around the stadium handing out ballots, not foam fingers. When I was in Baltimore last month they were handing them out and collecting them later. I can handle that.

    1. I don’t believe any more paper ballots are being collected. I remember reading somewhere the last day for all-star voting at Citi was the DH day against the Padres. If that is the case, all that is left is reminding fans to vote online.
Anyway, the Mets seem to be responding to increasing fan chatter on the internet pushing for voting Wright to the A.S. game, & fans telling Lady GaGa where she can put her finger. To me, this shows the Mets management are paying attention.
Though, I wish they were pushing for fans to write Pagan in, not that he has much chance of getting voted in. But, it would be a great way for fans to show they support the guy.

      1. I’ve been tweeting about Pagan constantly. Hopefully the players ballot puts him in, or Charlie does the right thing and takes him. Or we get enough write-in votes to garner attention that he makes it onto the final player ballot. But while we’ll never vote him in as a write-in, we can hopefully get enough votes to make people pay attention.
