I got the red white and blue cap at the ’47 shop at Citi Field for $18! Â The price sticker says “Mets-Giants” which I thought was mighty interesting….may have to discuss that separately. Â Â Anyway, it’s red white and blue and much nicer than the Stars & Stripes caps.
The Mets stores are also selling the Stars & Stripes jerseys ($99), which are also nicer than the caps.
If you pair the two up the colors don’t quite match, but you aren’t going to pick up girls in a Mets cap and jersey anyway so who cares.
at least 2 of those colors are ours. i always thought there should be different variations of the old stars and stripes caps and jerseys should to cater to the team’s actual colors.
i’m probably just gonna go with my (and i don’t know why this was a design) Mets/American Flag Spring Training t-shirt.
