Interview with former A’s catcher Mike Piazza

Among my considerations for the new direction of the blog (now that we’ve learned nobody likes the Mets or cares about 1986) are

“Dave Howard is Always Right” – a panel of experts will break down everything Dave has ever said and point out that although it seems absurd, it is your fault you can’t see the left fielder.

or perhaps  “The A’s Police” – I could bitch about gold uniforms, why don’t we ever see the elephants, the move to San Jose, and why Jimmie Foxx is the best player ever that nobody ever talks about.

Let’s test-drive The A’s Police by linking to this article by Athletics Nation in which former A’s catcher Mike Piazza discusses Italiany things, his connections with the Dodgers and some other team he was on, how Sam Worthington should play him in the movie, more Italiany things and Italian food.

It’s a nice change of pace article for A’s fans like you and I.

  1. Congrats on the new format. I sent a new site header to your email. I look forward to reading about the future exploits of Gio Gonzalez and our boys in green in future posts.

As it stands, after essentially calling the Mets fan base a bunch of whiny D-bags on my blog earlier today, I’ll probably be looking for a new team to write about as well.

    Lets go A’s!!! 1973 forever!!!!
