Various things on the Internet upsetting me

Metsmerized is asking if the Mets are afraid of being perceived as racists if they fire Manuel.

No need to worry ‘merized. When they fire someone who wins or GM’s 95 games we can start that talk.

Meanwhile at The Apple, Randy joins the list of bloggers with far superior technology to mine with this awesome Attack Ad On Howard Megdal.

How come everyone has video now? You’d think that Media Goon would get on this and start making some animated shorts or something. I may just have to buy Randy out. Seriously, another great piece on a blog you should check out every day. I mean, any dope can post pictures of caps, right?

How about the folks at WordPress? Can y’all make an iPad app tat doesn’t display titles as Auto Draft all day? And maybe one that doesn’t crash?

Finally there’s Cerrone. He didn’t do anything wrong but he linked to the Adam Rubin story that tells me the 2011 payroll is seriously FUBAR. Just when it looked like the team was getting younger, there’s little room to add anything.

Don’t forget kids, starting next year Bobby Bonilla gets $1 million a year. Enjoy the ticket prices!

Speaking of which, guess which team has the biggest attendance drop? Your first 29 guesses don’t count.

  1. The best part is that The Apple is created entirely on an ASUS Netbook with Windows 7 Starter. There is no way I have better tech than Shannon. He’s just being lazy:)

  2. remember im his photographer/photoshop guy. did you see the jedi mind trick he tried to use on me.”You’d think that Media Goon would get on this and start making some animated shorts or something.” nice try shannon, nice try. But I am working on something.

    1. is it worth downloading CS4? I’ve got a copy of three on my machine somewhere right now, but reformatting and wondering if i should upgrade.

While the Mets may have the number in drop of attendance, the drop seen in Toronto and Cleveland is a more significant.
The Mets are seeing a reduction of 15.5% of game attendance. Definitely not a good thing. Toronto’s (21.8%) and Cleveland’s (20.9%) is even worse considering their low attendance numbers to begin with.
15% loss of something is bad. 20% loss from practically nothing is horrendous.
