Man up and play better

According to this report in the Daily News it was the phrase “Man up and play better!” that set K-Rod off.

Not for nothing but MAN UP AND PLAY BETTER would be a good slogan for this entire franchise.

The only guy who does “man up” is Santana who is often like a one man team.

The rest of ya, and I mean upstairs too, check the standings. I will meet you in the hallway in five minutes if you’d like to talk.

….

This is another “one and done” day for me. Cool generic content will roll out throughout the day and Media Goon and Dan will mind the store.

If some Los Mets jerseys appear tonight snap some pix guys. Thanks!

  1. KRod is a dolt for doing this… but in the immortal words of the dearly departed Sam Kinison: ‘I don’t condone wife-beating, but I can understand it’. I have cut/past this comment from the link as it struck a chord w/in me. Read up.

I agree that K-Rod should not have laid a hand on the guy but this sounds like it’s been coming to a head for some time. Man-up, Señor Peña. What are you doing screaming a his mother? What are you suggesting when you call him a baby? He’s a f a g? If you wanted respect, how about starting with your own daughter having children with a man who is not officially her husband. Are you enjoying his food, his flat screen, his pool, his bath while the man who pays all those bills and then some is in jail? How about you manning up and get a hotel room?
