Man, I thought I was all cool comparing Cliff Lee to Mike Scott yesterday, then Mark Simon told me Newsday got a hold of Scott…so I googled Mike Scott and see that SI had the same observation I had…just 4 days earlier, and like with most sites much better writing.

They could be seen pointing at the large circular scuff marks repeatedly found. “There’s no doubt he was scuffing,” says Backman. “I mean, no doubt at all. Zero percent chance he was innocent.”
