I’m hearing 15 game weekend Mets plans are 10 and 5

As always I remind you that Mets Police is not news and I leave it to you to decide if you find the site to be accurate.

I’m hearing that ticket reps are calling fans for renewals and the language is along the lines of  “… our Saturday plus plan, which would include 10 Saturdays and 5 other games.”

I’ll let you know as I hear more.  Thanks for the tip folks!

I’m not surprised at all.

The site seems to be glitching.  If you are seeing 0, 1, 2 or 3 Tom Seaver posts right now I apologize.

  1. I’m not at all surprised… would you want to tell the “weekend” people that they couldn’t renew their seats because you were only offering “Saturday” & “Sunday” plans in 2011?

    1. Paul I pondered the same, but it’s not like the place is full and under your premise then there can never ever be a weekend plan at Citi because of a decision made in 2009.

      1. Unless we see a return to the late 70s-era attendance problems, we probably can’t have pure Saturday or Sunday plans because of the decision to sell the hybrid weekend ones back in 2009.

  2. You want weekends…those games are in high demand and the Mets are in contention already for 2011 and you think they’re going to let you pick your other games? Ha, there is a line longer than you can count waiting to get into these seats!

  3. On the 2011 schedule I see 13 Sat and 13 Sun games so what series are not included in these 10 and five packs

  4. Hey John,

    Rest assured: the good ones.

I kid (sure we’ll get Yankees, for instance), but wow, it is irritating. I’m married to a teacher who is up at 5 AM on weekdays. I’ll be bringing an infant, making late nights difficult/probably irresponsible as a parent for me to bring her. Weeknights with the family just aren’t happening.

Glad they have the 10 percent discount for plan holders- would rather buy the 13 games I want (and used to buy from the Mets) rather than 10 I want and 5 I don’t. Pretty sure the 5 weeknight games come out to more than 10 percent of what I’m spending.
