We interrupt the complaining to….

Quick hi. There’s nothing major this morning. I have some fun with caps lined up, and that’s what I love about the site – the randomness.

Yesterday was “topics” – thanks for the support on no booing, and the Howie discussion.

I was thrilled when I checked my email and saw several suggestions – that always perks me up.

Albert, I’m still working on your “would the Mets be better off at Shea” premise – I need to rework it a little.

I also got a tip about morale in the ticket office. I anyone has heard anything please let me know. I’m not ready to roll with it yet (for all you know my story might be how great morale is).

Anyways, I love doing the site and it means a lot to me that you guys dig it. If you know some Mets fan friends who you think might dig it, please pass it along to them. With more readers comes more “influence” which allows me to more loudly advocate for change.

I think you’re in for a surprisingly fun season. The Wilpon mess will work itself out one way or another, but I think Sandy and Colactus have this. Feel free to save this and mock me in August, but I’m ready for a great ride.

At the end of the day (poor writing, overused cliche) this is all just fun – using the word Colactus, or poking at Dave from Flushing, or the daily rant about the color scheme, waxing poetic about Lee Mazzilli and Mr. Met conspiracies…it’s all just a good time but it does come from the heart. I don’t just make topics up to stir the pot. Media Goon put it best – we’d be talking about this stuff at the bar anyway.

Thanks for reading and glad you enjoy it.
