Pictures of the Mets Bark In The Park

I would have loved to go to Citi Field today with my dogs but

a) my dogs are idiots (no, they really are. Well the newer one is OK, and it’s his birthday Monday – but the border collie is an idiot and would have ran away)

b) Mrs. Mets Police was working so I had to watch the kids

Anyway, I have scoured twitter for pictures of the dogs.  One question, how come a dog can walk on the field but I can’t walk around with a banner?

  1. I believe we are undefeated with “Bark in the Park” in Shea 2!

    Can anybody conirm this?

    1. They did beat Atlanta in last years Bark in the Park on Sat. Apr 24th (essentially a year ago) It also marked the winning of their second series of the season, just like today.
Last season second Bark in the Park, in late Sep. was rained out, and not rescheduled.
      I don’t know about 2009.

  2. We had a great time. Thanks for taking our dogs picture. It was the two little maltese dogs in there doggy bag (3 rd picture)
left to right Mia and Taffany . Thank goodness it stopped raining and the pups had a blast. Not to mention there team winning.

  3. After the rain stopped it became rather pleasant. It wasn’t the usual raw, windy cold day we all come to expect. Since I sprung for section 414 we were able to hang in the Promenade club, very upper class to me and the kids. We remained warm and dry. We did have to eat our food outside since the stuff inside was a bit upscale for us. The dogs seemed to be enjoying themselves and the crowd was so sparse you could hear them barking which was rather cute. The big winner was as the game let out Winston the skate boarding dog was in the parking lot riding up and down. It was really funny. He had his own van and traveled like a rock star. A great day for all.
