Hello – hope you had a nice weekend. While you were away I redecordated…a hopefully less cluttered design. I also plan to use the “sticky” post option more often – leaving the big story or stories of the day up top, with newer content rolling out below. So if you see something up top you’ve already seen it is usually going to be worth scrolling down to see what’s new.
There was a surprising amount of stuff going on so let’s catch you up and give you some stuff to read over lunch.
I suggested the Mets retire #8. Amazin’ Avenue wrote a respectful rebuttal.
The Mets visited the Intrepid (cool pics via @newyorkmets) but Keith says the Mets do too much off-field stuff.
The Eddie Grant plaque was added to the Citi Field museum
A guy was wearing a dog costume at Citi. Turns out it was some Fox shenanigans.
People get mad when I say it’s over.
Citi Field ranks higher than Fake New Yankee Stadium in this survey
The News checked in with Robert Valentine at work
The new guy wore a blue Mets cap to the game.
All in all a pretty busy weekend. Anyone else sick of work yet?
